Consciousness creating form

The Ted Talk by Donald Hoffman sparked my interest in the idea that all form is created by a universal consciousness. This idea is in alignment with Christianity, Buddhism (Yogachara) and other religions who echo the concept of oneness.
I use my art to explore ideas such as these. The picture explores the analogy that we are like waves on the ocean. For a brief time we are apparently an individual form, like a wave. But the wave consists only of water, so it is not separate from the ocean, it is still the ocean. The figure is set in a head like shape. It is an illusion of a separate self, created by consciousness. Consciousness is the ocean, the figure a wave.
